Every one of us sometimes reaches our limits. Then it can be helpful to exchange ideas with someone else who offers a fresh, different perspective, looks professionally at change processes and brings with them experience of new solutions.

What happens during individual coaching?

Initially we examine, together, what is happening. In challenging situations people become stuck, you cannot see the wood for the trees and increasingly you develop tunnel vision. You get the impression of having ‘no alternatives’ or else only two equally uncomfortable options. “Do I stay in the job or become unemployed?”

 What is special about our approach?

Our coaches have completed many different training courses, apply their knowledge in a variety of ways, look at their coachee with openness and genuine interest. Depth and sustainability are more important to us than quick, superficial solutions. We can support what we do theoretically and integrate psychological, sociological and economic expertise. At the same time we are all practitioners and have our own management experience; we are not like blind people talking about colour.

For which topics or problems is it meaningful to have individual coaching?

During coaching, matters regularly revolve around three different subject areas:

  • I am constantly doing things which I actually don’t want to do.
  • I am overburdened.
  • I suffer from internal conflicts.
  • I feel put upon, insufficiently challenged, bored, do not know what I really want, am pulled this way and that, have fears and worries, am too emotional or cannot access my own feelings.
  • My employees expect too much from me, I have conflicts with them, they don’t accept anything or push everything back onto me.
  • My boss is an idiot, I cannot talk to him/her, am constantly criticised, don’t get feedback, am left alone, everything lands on my table, everything is interfered with, I am not allowed to decide and am constantly controlled.
  • Family and job are in contradiction to each other, the relationship suffers, my children miss out.
  • Suppliers, customers, service providers irritate, the tasks are too extensive, pointless and are in contradiction with each other.
